Choice Hotels associates and Rebuilding Together Montgomery County will address various interior and exterior needs of Progress Place, including: electrical work, roofing repairs, appliance upgrades, painting and landscaping. The project will not only restore the facade of the building but also send a message of hope.

Choice Hotels commitment to Rebuilding Together is part of the company's Room to Rebuild initiative that focuses on revitalizing homes across the country and in its own backyard. Since the program's launch two years ago, over 1,200 volunteers from Choice Hotels have donated more than 8,000 hours of volunteer service which, in turn, have assisted over 3,000 individuals through projects that have been worth an estimated market value of nearly $2 million.*

"We started this relationship with Rebuilding Together because we wanted to make a positive impact in the communities in which we live, work and operate hotels across the country," said Stephen P. Joyce, president and chief executive officer for Choice Hotels. "Our associates and franchisees have truly embraced this partnership. Working in collaboration with Rebuilding Together, we have been able to provide the true definition of hospitality -- the friendly, warm and generous reception and treatment of people from all walks of life."
