Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Vice President, Technology
Anna Scozzafava is the Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Vice President, Technology for Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE: CHH), one of the largest and most successful lodging franchisors in the world. In this role, she is responsible for developing the company’s corporate strategy and leading enterprise transformation efforts. Ms. Scozzafava also leads Choice’s advanced analytics and technology functions.
Ms. Scozzafava joined Choice Hotels in 2012 and has held roles of increasing responsibility throughout her tenure. Previously, she oversaw Choice’s extended stay brands, which include Everhome Suites, MainStay Suites, WoodSpring Suites, and Suburban Studios. In that role, Ms. Scozzafava drove the growth and expansion of Choice’s extended stay portfolio, helping to establish the company as a clear leader in the fast-growing, high-performing segment.
Ms. Scozzafava has played a critical cross-enterprise role in several strategic areas, including the global growth of the company’s upscale brands, the execution of the Comfort brand transformation strategy, the acquisition of WoodSpring Suites, and the launch of Everhome Suites, the company’s newest extended stay brand. In 2019, Ms. Scozzafava was named one of the most “Influential Women in Hospitality" by Hotel Management magazine.
Prior to joining Choice, Ms. Scozzafava worked at Corporate Executive Board, a leading technology advisory firm that is now a part of Gartner. Ms. Scozzafava earned her bachelor’s degree from Washington College and was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame in 2019 for her achievements in women’s rowing, including being named the first-ever All-American coxswain.
