Among this year's award winners were three "Developer of the Year" recipients, five "Premier Alliance" winners, 14 "Hotel of the Year" hotels, and one "Woman of the Year".

Hotel of the Year award winners rank within the top percentage of their brand and are selected in part by reviewing each property's guest satisfaction scores, which are calculated using the results of surveys that are emailed to hotel guests within three days of their checkout.
