LITTLE ELM, Texas, June 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Steve Harvey hosted the 7th annual Steve Harvey Mentoring Program for Young Men this past week with a lineup of male role models including Steve Joyce, president and CEO of Choice Hotels. Choice Hotels has sponsored the program since inception and continues to be its largest donor. The Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation hosts 100 fatherless young men, aged 13-18, and their mothers from across the country at the Harvey Family Ranch in Texas for six days of educational and inspirational workshops -- which include fishing, sports and military-style boot camp -- designed to teach the teenagers about manhood, life skills and entrepreneurship to help empower their futures. Choice Hotels donates hundreds of free hotel rooms for the mothers and volunteers, free camp breakfasts and helps to fund airline expenses. This year, Steve Joyce also announced a new Choice Hotels program aimed to assist the families of Junior Counselors with traveling for college visits.
